GICLÉES

Definition.-

A process that enables the creation of artistic prints from a digitized source using an inkjet printer. The term was coined by Jack Duganne to refer to any type of print with these characteristics made for artistic purposes

Characteristics of José Miguel Palacio’s Giclées:

1.- They are based on the pictorial work of José Miguel Palacio.

2.- The prints are produced using natural mineral pigments on acid-free cotton paper—HAHNEMÜHLE William Turner 300 gsm and Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 305 gsm, Cotton White Matt Fine Art Smooth. On the lower white margin of the giclée, in addition to the edition number and the artist’s signature, a circular embossed seal is included with the inscription “opus factum in charta” and the artist’s initials (JMP) in the center, authenticating its authorship.

3.- Each piece is accompanied by its corresponding certificate of authenticity.
